TWO Zebco Cardinal 4 Vintage Spinning Reels different early and late versions

  

Two Zebco Cardinal 4 Vintage Spinning Reels. Both function as they should (one missing spool).

Bail spring are strong on both. They are slightly different based on their date of manufacture. 1978ish First version has minimal paint scuffs and looks very nice. Foot says ABU SVANGSTA SWEDEN. Side sticker is missing the "o" of Zebco.

You could use it fishing tomorrow. Second reel is a later version missing the spool but still functions as it should with a strong bail spring and smooth action.
