Vintage Abu Cardinal 355 Fishing Reel /made In Sweden #811200

Listed is the Abu 355 " very rare" model of the Black Cardinal series according to Marco Malavasi who wrote "The Reelstown Guide to Abu Spinning Reels". This spinning reel was manufactured in Sweden only in 1981 for the 1982 Abu catalog and only for the European market. Rarely seen in the USA.

This is a used spinning reel with a few minor blemishes. The foot has 2 small scuffs on it from being put on a rod. There are some scratches on the spool housing above the ball bearing sticker... Small and hard to see on the picture. The labels on the side of the reel appear to have small turquoise imperfections (see pictures), and a very small scratch about the in the center of the C on Cardinal, yet the label is in very good shape.

The spool is used but still in good condition. A fine example of an extremely rare reel.
