Vintage Zebco 312 Reel! Very Rare Anodized Blue Nose Cone! USA

THE ZEBCO 312 ORIGINALLY CAME OUT IN 1973 AS A RUGGED ECONOMY REEL FULL OF FEATURES! THIS IS A RARE 312 AS IT HAS A BLUE ANODIZED COVER VERSES THE COMMON BRONZE COLORED COVER THAT WAS LISTED IN ALL THE CATALOGS! ZEBCO HAD MADE THIS BLUE ANODIZED COLOR FOR A SPECIAL RUN OF REELS MADE FOR OLD PAL COMPANY IN A SPECIAL "MODEL 50", (PICTURE 7). THAT IS THE ONLY OTHER PLACE I HAVE SEEN THIS COLOR ON A VINTAGE ZEBCO!

NOTE PICTURE 7 IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY! WE HAVE ALL SEEN MANY BRONZE COLORED REELS AND EVEN A "SILVER" ONE.. I HAVE PERSONALLY NEVER SEEN ANOTHER BLUE CONE MODEL.

SO I CONSIDER THIS TO BE A VERY RARE VERSION. PERHAPS IT WAS A PROTOTYPE THAT MADE IT INTO THE WILD? NORMAL MINOR scratch(s), rubs, finish wear. Original grease and line on reel. It does push and release/reels perfectly drag also works!
