Vintage Zebco One Spincast Fishing Reel NOS New Mint Box Instructions. This is a NOS Zebco One fishing reel in perfect condition cosmetically and operationally. I believe this is an earlier version of the Zebco One because it still has the screw that secures the back of the reel to the body (or frame).

BTW, don't use a screw driver on that screw as you're likely to mess it up. Use a coin and turn carefully. Built like a tank and made to last, the Zebco one is an amazing reel. The gear train is crafted of stainless steel helical cut gears and a stainless steel shaft. The helical cut gears mesh in a way that conventional gears don't as the gears are cut, or machined, with a slight swirl in them.

The box is in excellent shape as is the instructions pamphlet. There's no stiffness in the crank or the drag. The push button line release works perfectly as well.
