Vintage Zebco Sundowner 7900 9' USA Surf Rod & Cardinal 7 Sweden Reel

  
VINTAGE ZEBCO SUNDOWNER 7900 9' USA SURF ROD & CARDINAL 7. Rod - is in EXCELLENT CONDITION, lightly used and measures 9'. Uides plus tip show no rust or corrosion (see pic).

The two pieces fit tight together without issues. Above the cork handle is in great shape, and has a small 1/4 chip on the lower section near the rubber butt. Has the vintage ZEBCO Sundowner No.

7900 9' Heavy Action Made in U. Under the reel seat it is engraved with previous owners name. If the reel is put on the rod, you cannot see any of it. And shows very, very light use (see pic). This rod was stored with care. Reel - is stamped with "SWEDEN" #740907 on the seat (in pics I had green tape on reel seat to protect). Has the vintage "ZEBCO 7 Cardinal" emblem on the right side (see pic).

NO PREVIOUS OWNER marks on the reel. Reel is dark forest green w/ the spool housing being white in color. Has some super light scratches and scuffs on the bottom (see pic). The reel handle is in great shape and just shows very light wear.

Original sticker on spool housing "SALT WATER PROOF BALL BEARING DRIVE". The bail does shows NO corrosion on the chrome and clicks as expected and the turns smoothly. The plastic spool shows some very light wear (see pic) Original grease inside with no issues with the gears (see pics).
