Zebco Cardinal 4 Spinning Reel

  

For your consideration, A vintage Zebco Cardinal 4, serial number 760600, that was a gift to my pop back in the 70's from one of his fishing buddies. My pops passed away in 2012 and I got no kids to leave it to, so I'm gonna let it go. This beautiful reel has never had line on it, still has rubber band around the cork on the spool. He mounted the reel on an ol' Eagle Claw rod and hung it on his fish mount wall. It will make a fine addition to any one's collection, or put it on a rod, put on some good 12# fish'n line and use it!

Mechanically a 10, crisp bail, quiet smooth retrieve. Probably could use a bit of fresh oil and grease. No marks on the rotor cup or body, but very minute rub, where it was mounted on the rod, I'd still give it a 9.9+++ You won't be disappointed with this gem, like finding a 64 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible covered up in a barn. They just don't make reels like these anymore...
